About

Aerospace law is the specialized academic field and body of legal principles that governs human activities within the Earth's atmosphere (air law) and in outer space (space law). As a research concept, it investigates the complex legal challenges arising from aviation and space exploration, including issues of state sovereignty, international cooperation, liability for damage, safety regulations, environmental protection, resource utilization, and the legal status and regulation of commercial, scientific, and military operations in these environments. Its significance lies in establishing a necessary framework for the orderly conduct of air and space activities, mitigating risks, and facilitating technological and economic development in these critical domains through international treaties, national legislation, and customary law.
